Win-A-New-Car Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligibility: Green Media is a division of Grapevine Creative Media (Pty) Ltd. The competition is open to subscribers of Green Media who have registered for the competition, are legal residents of South Africa, and aged 18 years or older. Employees of Grapevine Creative Media (Pty) Ltd., their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organization or judging of the competition are not eligible to enter.

  2. Prizes: The prize is a brand-new car. Grapevine Creative Media (Pty) Ltd. reserves the right to replace the car prize with another vehicle of similar value or an alternative prize of equivalent value. Once the keys and car paperwork are handed over to the winner, the winner assumes full responsibility for the car, including insurance, maintenance, and any applicable taxes or fees. Grapevine Creative Media (Pty) Ltd. will not be held liable for any incidents or issues relating to the car after the winner takes possession. It is strongly advised that the winner obtains appropriate insurance coverage before taking possession of the car.

  3. Registration: Participants must be registered for the competition through Green Media’s platform to be eligible for entry. Participants earn an entry for every rand of their product’s retail value (for Brand Managers) / verified rate card value (for Media Owners) traded on the platform.

  4. Competition Period: The competition ends on 31 July 2024. Entries submitted after this date will be disqualified. The winner will be drawn on 15 August 2024 and announced on 22 August 2024.

  5. Winner Selection: The winner will be chosen by our auditors using a random selection program. The auditors will input the total number of eligible entries into the program, and it will randomly select the winning entry. The organization represented by the winner will be deemed the winner of the brand-new car prize. The selection process will be overseen by the auditors to ensure fairness and impartiality. The decision of Grapevine Creative Media (Pty) Ltd. is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection process or winner determination.

  6. Notification: The winner will be notified by email and/or phone call within 5 business days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, Grapevine Creative Media (Pty) Ltd. reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select a replacement winner. Winners will be announced to the media for promotional purposes.

  7. General: Grapevine Creative Media (Pty) Ltd. reserves the right to cancel, discontinue, or extend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice and without recourse. In addition, Grapevine Creative Media (Pty) Ltd. reserves the right to replace the car prize with another vehicle of similar value or an alternative prize of equivalent value. The car will be delivered to the winner by 28 February 2025.
